A man identified as Ogbonna, widely known by the nickname “Mourinho,” has been arrested for allegedly killing his former girlfriend, Chisom Ayogu, at his home in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Chisom, a native of Amufie in Igbo-Eze North LGA, had reportedly visited Ogbonna at his residence on New Anglican Road, Nsukka, to inform him about her upcoming wedding.

The meeting, however, turned violent following an argument, during which Ogbonna allegedly assaulted her.
Eyewitnesses say Chisom was found unconscious when help arrived. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Ogbonna, who is from the Igogoro community in the same Igbo-Eze North LGA, is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
