African China joins 30 Days Rant Challenge with new song, scores Tinubu’s govt F9

Date:

African China has joined the 30 Days Rant Challenge with his new song ‘Photocopy’, a scathing critique of President Tinubu’s administration.

The song, performed with his children, highlights Nigeria’s economic challenges and indicts the government for its “criminal mismanagement” of the country.

African China’s music video features him wearing a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) uniform, showing solidarity with NYSC member Ushie Rita Uguamaye, who faced backlash for criticizing President Tinubu.

The song is a Galala sound-infused record that packs a punch, with African China calling the current administration ‘terrible and corrupt’ for failing to alleviate citizens’ pain.

This isn’t African China’s first foray into politically conscious music; his iconic single “Mr. President” addressed socioeconomic injustice in Nigeria and became a landmark song of the century.

The 30 Days Rant Challenge has gained widespread support, including from public figures, as Nigerians share their economic struggles under President Tinubu’s administration.

With skyrocketing inflation and high unemployment, critics have labeled the president’s reforms as poorly conceived. African China’s “Photocopy” is a powerful addition to the conversation, using music as a form of resistance and social commentary.
