Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has revealed that he dissed President Bola Tinubu in one of his songs because of his loyalty to Peter Obi.
He said the dis-track came to being because he believed in Obi’s vision and wanted to show his full support for the Labour Party candidate during the 2023 election period.
The rapper made this confession on his official X handle, where he also asked Peter Obi to publicly support his upcoming album ‘The Machine Is Coming’.
He said “Peter Obi, I even dissed Tinubu for you. Now, because of you, the people are spitting on me and my legacy.
“Tweet ‘The Machine Is Coming’ to rekindle and redeem our friendship, sir. Do not listen to them. Listen to your heart. ‘The Machine Is Coming’.”
Odumodublvck stated that he’s been facing backlash since his diss, which has stained his name and legacy.
Odumodublvck was a vocal supporter of Peter Obi during the 2023 elections, openly campaigning for him on social media, interviews, and through his lyrics.
He even rejected a performance invitation for Tinubu’s inauguration, citing that ‘they did not do their research’.
