Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has issued a stern warning to Nollywood actors, particularly those in the Yoruba film industry, to keep their hands off his wife, Ashabi Simple, who is a Yoruba actress.
Portable’s warning comes on the heels of the controversy surrounding actor Baba Tee and his colleague Ijoba Lande.
Portable took to Instagram to express his disapproval of Baba Tee’s actions, questioning whether such behavior is common in the Yoruba film industry.
He warned that anyone who tries to get intimate with Ashabi will face severe consequences.
He said “As much as I liked you, you aren’t supposed to be intimate with another person’s wife.
“Is that how you do in the Yoruba film industry? If anyone tries it with my wife who is an actress, the person will die. Why would you do something like that?
“However, the person who got intimate with someone else’s wife is not at fault; it is the wife who should be blamed. Don’t you know having a sexual encounter with someone else’s wife brings setbacks?”
It’s worth noting that Portable has been in the news recently for his personal life, including the end of his relationship with Queen Dami, the former wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo.
