The wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, has passed away. The sad news was announced by the state Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, in a press statement released early Friday.
According to the statement, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno died on September 26, 2024, at a hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.
Titled “Unexpected Sunset,” the statement read, “With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State. After battling an illness, she passed away peacefully on the 26th of September 2024 in the presence of her family.”
The family, in their grief, has submitted to the will of God and called for prayers and support from well-wishers during this challenging time.
Further details concerning funeral arrangements will be shared by the family in due course. For now, they request privacy as they mourn their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
