Fatima Buhari, eldest daughter of the late immediate past President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari, broke down in tears upon arriving at the family’s Daura residence on Tuesday in anticipation of her father’s burial.
Overcome with grief, Fatima was comforted by relatives and close companions as final arrangements for the burial took shape.

Other members of the Buhari family also converged on the Daura home to honour the late statesman and bid their farewells.
The former Nigerian leader is scheduled to be laid to rest today at his residence following funeral prayers at the Emir of Daura’s palace.
Muhammadu Buhari passed away on Sunday, July 13, at a medical facility in London after battling a prolonged illness.
