The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has officially declared four individuals wanted in connection with alleged fraudulent activities involving the Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX) platform.
According to an official notice released by the anti-graft agency on Friday, the wanted individuals are Seyi Oloyede, Emmanuel Uko, Adefowora Oluwanisola, and Adefowora Abiodun Olaonipekun.

The announcement was confirmed in a statement by the Commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.

The suspects allegedly defrauded numerous investors through the cryptocurrency trading platform. The EFCC statement emphasized the Commission’s determination to combat financial crimes, particularly in the increasingly vulnerable cryptocurrency sector.
Investigators have traced Oloyede and Uko to their last known address at 166 Idimu Egbeda Road in Lagos State.
Meanwhile, Oluwanisola and Olaonipekun were previously located at 13 Jimoh Odutola, Ogungpa, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The EFCC has called on citizens to provide any information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals, directing tips to its offices across the country in Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja.
This development follows a recent ruling from the Federal High Court in Abuja, where Justice Emeka Nwite granted the EFCC authority to arrest and detain six individuals allegedly connected to the CBEX fraud scheme, which reportedly involves over $1 billion.
The court order was issued on Thursday after the Commission’s counsel, Fadila Yusuf, presented an ex parte application.
The six individuals named in the court motion include the four currently declared wanted, along with Avwerosuo Otorudo and Chukwuebuka Ehirim.
