David Abioye launches new ministry

Date:

David Abioye, the former Vice President and retired senior pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has officially launched a new ministry—Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly.

The inauguration took place during the ministry’s first Sunday service on May 4, 2025, drawing a large and enthusiastic congregation eager to witness the birth of a fresh spiritual movement.

In a video clip from the service, Abioye explained that the church was birthed through divine instruction, emphasizing its mission to promote spiritual growth, strength, and victory for believers across the world.

“This assembly is not the result of public pressure or personal ambition,” Abioye clarified. “It is the unveiling of God’s eternal purpose—ordained from the foundation of the Word and now revealed in His appointed time.”

Addressing the congregation, he described his role not as a lone fulfiller of the Great Commission but as a messenger entrusted with a specific assignment in God’s broader agenda.

He formally declared the ministry open, stating:

“To the glory of God, this assembly—Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly—is hereby inaugurated today, Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, for the spiritual edification and triumph of saints around the world.”

Welcoming the congregation, he added, “Everyone here today will not cease to conquer. You will be named more than conquerors.”

Abioye’s new ministry comes months after his retirement from Living Faith Church in October 2024, alongside fellow deputy Thomas Aremu.

Their exit followed a policy review that introduced a mandatory retirement age. Abioye stepped down at age 63 after over 40 years of service in ministry.
