A tense situation unfolded at Denver International Airport on Saturday when passengers aboard American Airlines Flight AA3023 were forced to disembark after a fire erupted due to a malfunction involving the aircraft’s landing gear.
The airline confirmed that the Boeing 737 MAX 8, which was scheduled to fly to Miami International Airport, encountered a technical problem with one of its tires while still on the ground.

Emergency crews responded swiftly, ensuring the safe evacuation of all 173 passengers and six crew members from the aircraft.
Media outlets in the United States reported that one passenger sustained a minor injury and required hospital treatment.
Additionally, five others were treated at the airport by medical personnel.
In a brief statement, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) acknowledged the incident, attributing it to a “possible landing gear issue.”
The agency said a formal investigation is now underway to determine the exact cause.
