Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), shared a personal prophecy about his own death last night, telling millions of attendees at the 73rd Annual Convention that he will pass away on a Sunday after a church service.
Speaking at the Old Auditorium on Day 4 of the convention, themed “The Overcomers,” Pastor Adeboye described the day of his passing, saying: “It’s going to be on a Sunday.
“I would go to Church for service, dance very well and return home. I will eat pounded yam, then I will go.”
He did not, however, specify the date.

The cleric, who was leading prayers on divine healing, emphasized that people do not necessarily have to die after an illness.
He also led prayers on topics including prosperity, fruitfulness, and long life.
In his sermon, Adeboye cited 2 Corinthians 8:9 to support his message that prosperity is a divine right for Christians.
He urged his congregation to reject poverty, describing it as a tool used by the devil to hinder the spread of the gospel.
