This move follows serious allegations of corruption and financial mismanagement surrounding the former Speaker.

Reports indicate that the Speaker was impeached due to gross misconduct and abuse of power.

Among the accusations is the controversial spending of N17 billion on a gate for the Assembly complex, which critics have labeled as extravagant and fraudulent.

Additional claims have surfaced regarding the mismanagement of constituency funds and projects under his leadership.
