Operatives from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) have uncovered two warehouses filled with expired medications in Aba, Abia State.
This discovery is part of an ongoing operation aimed at eliminating the illegal sale of adulterated and expired drugs across the country.
During the raid on Mbakwe Road in Aba, NAFDAC officials found that some of the suspects had attempted to remove and relabel expired drug cartons to make them appear legitimate.
The agency has since seized several medications, which will now undergo laboratory analysis for further investigation.
