“No serious injuries” as Gov Radda involved in road accident

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was recently involved in a minor road accident along the Daura-Katsina highway.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday evening, did not result in any serious injuries.

According to a statement from Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the accident happened while Governor Radda was discharging his official responsibilities.

The statement reads: “Governor Radda Suffers Minor Accident on Daura-Katsina Road, No Serious Injuries Sustained.

“Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a minor road accident this evening along the Daura – Katsina Road, while carrying out his official duties in service to the people of Katsina State.

“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained.

“Governor Radda remains in high spirits and expresses his gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.”

Authorities assured the public that the governor is continuing his duties without interruption, and the state government appreciates the outpouring of concern from citizens.

The governor played host to prominent figures in the country last week following the death of the immediate past President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari who died last Sunday in London, the body was flown to Nigeria on Tuesday and buried in his home town, Daura.
