Operatives of the Nigeria Airforce have conveyed sensitive election materials to Akure, the Ondo state capital, ahead of the state’ Governorship poll, scheduled for Saturday, November 16.
According to a terse statement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Monday, November 11, the materials have been received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The statement reads: “Sensitive materials for the Ondo State Governorship election, scheduled for Saturday 16th November 2024 have arrived in Akure, the State capital, and received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
“The materials were conveyed to Akure by the Nigeria Airforce.”
