Ondo: Police arrest couple for child theft, recover 10 children

Operatives of the Ondo State Police Command have reportedly arrested a couple, Lukman Isiaka and his wife, Abosede Olanipekun, for allegedly stealing children across Ondo and Osun states.

According to The Nation, the police have successfully recovered 10 of the allegedly stolen children.

However, some distraught parents who thronged the command’s headquarters lamented that their children were still missing.

According to the report, the couple allegedly used various tactics to abduct the children and then sell each one for N1 million to Sabina Izuorah, a 62-year-old resident of Ihiala in Anambra State.

According to reports, the couple were apprehended following a police investigation into the kidnapping of a child who had been reported missing by her mother.
