“President Buhari’s leadership was defined by a resolute fight against corruption, an unwavering commitment to national unity, and dedicated public service,” the SGF said. “He led with calm strength, moral clarity, and unmatched devotion to the Nigerian project. His vision for a better, safer, and more transparent Nigeria inspired millions across the country and beyond, as well as generations to come.”
In a mark of respect, President Bola Tinubu, has ordered that the national flag be flown at half-mast nationwide for seven days starting today. Additionally, an emergency Federal Executive Council meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday to pay tribute to the late president and reflect on his contributions to the nation.
