Khaby Lame, the Italian-Senegalese TikTok sensation recognized as the platform’s most-followed creator, has reportedly been deported from the United States due to an alleged visa overstay, according to a report by The New York Times.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that the 25-year-old was taken into custody last Friday at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

Authorities stated that Lame entered the country on April 30 but remained beyond the period permitted by his visa.
Lame became a global household name through his silent, humorous reactions to overly complicated “life hack” videos. His signature deadpan expressions and wordless content earned him over 160 million followers on TikTok and brought widespread fame.
Beyond social media, Lame has secured brand partnerships with international fashion labels, appeared in a Hollywood movie, and starred in a Tubi reality series titled Khaby Is Coming to America.
News of his deportation quickly circulated online, drawing a flurry of responses. Among the voices was Bo Loudon, a Gen Z supporter of former President Donald Trump and online political activist, who claimed credit for tipping off ICE.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Loudon alleged that Lame had evaded taxes and called his removal a necessary step in broader immigration enforcement.Since his reported removal, Lame has remained silent on the matter.
However, he shared an Instagram story on Monday showing a geotag in São Paulo, Brazil—his first known location following his departure from the United States.
Riccardo Lanzo, Lame’s former attorney, confirmed to The New York Times that while the influencer had been spending extended time in the U.S., his precise immigration status was unclear.
The development comes during a renewed focus on immigration enforcement policies under the Trump administration’s second term.
