The ceremony took place in Awka, the state capital, and was led by Igwe Chidubem Iweka of Obosi, who chairs the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council.

The gathering of monarchs expressed their appreciation for the president’s visit and his role in advancing national development.

President Tinubu’s trip also included the commissioning of key infrastructure projects completed under Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.

Notably, he inaugurated Anambra’s first Government House—an achievement that comes more than three decades after the state was established.
