Tinubu swears in new ministers

President Bola Tinubu on Monday swore in seven persons as ministers.

The ceremony was held at the council chamber of Aso Rock Villa.

The new cabinet members took the oath of office in two batches, four in the first batch and three in the second, after their citations were read by the State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye.

The ministers and their portfolios are Nentawe Yilwatda, Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi, Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State, Foreign Affairs; and Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.

Others are Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Suwaiba Ahmad, Minister of State, Education.
