Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has stated that both President Bola Tinubu and Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), are working tirelessly to reinstate suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Tompolo, who is the chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited—an oil pipeline surveillance company addressing crude oil theft in Rivers and the broader Niger Delta—made the remarks in an interview with Arise TV on Saturday.
On March 18, President Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers State due to an ongoing political crisis.

As part of the declaration, Fubara, along with his deputy Ngozi Odu and all members of the state assembly, were suspended for an initial six months.
Tinubu appointed retired Vice-Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas as the sole administrator of the state.
The move has led to widespread protests, with citizens calling for a swift return to normalcy.
Commenting on the situation, Tompolo expressed confidence that Fubara would soon resume his role as governor, adding that all relevant parties are actively working to resolve the matter.
