Donald Trump has claimed victory in the U.S. election, addressing a crowd of ecstatic supporters in Florida.
“America has given us a powerful and unprecedented mandate,” he told the cheering crowd.
The Republican candidate secured key battleground states, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia, leaving Kamala Harris with only a slim path to victory.

Shortly before Trump’s speech, Fox News declared him the winner, though other major TV networks have not yet made the same projection.
Should he reclaim the White House, it would mark a remarkable political comeback for Trump, following his loss to Joe Biden in 2020.
Harris, who has yet to speak, saw many of her supporters leave her watch party in disappointment earlier in the evening.
Meanwhile, Republicans are also projected to regain control of the Senate.
