Wike renames Abuja international conference centre after Tinubu

On Tuesday, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, officially renamed the Abuja International Conference Centre in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, which was presided over by President Tinubu in Abuja, Wike revealed that the facility will now be known as the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.

He described the centre as a top-tier facility that demands continuous upkeep to maintain its standard.

Wike further stated—after receiving the President’s approval—that all individuals or organisations seeking to use the newly refurbished complex will be required to pay usage fees, regardless of their social or political standing.
