President Bola Tinubu on Saturday publicly announced that he had moved past any grievances with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stating, “It’s all over now. All is forgiven.”
This declaration came after a private meeting with members of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), who met with the president to intercede on behalf of the governor and others believed to have fallen out of his favour.

Alhaji Tajudeen Olusi, the Chairman of the GAC, welcomed President Tinubu to Lagos and acknowledged during the meeting that the president had been displeased with certain individuals, notably Governor Sanwo-Olu. He then made a direct appeal for forgiveness.
According to sources present, President Tinubu assured those in attendance that he harboured no resentment, especially toward Sanwo-Olu.
As a sign of contrition, the governor and several members of the GAC reportedly prostrated before the president.
While the specific reasons for the rift were not addressed during the meeting, the focus remained on reconciliation, with President Tinubu accepting the apologies extended to him.
