The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed speculations regarding his health, stating that he is in excellent condition and brimming with vitality.
Addressing concerns about his frequent public outings with his son, the former governor of Rivers State defended his actions, stressing that he sees nothing inappropriate in being seen with his child.

In an interview with BBC Pidgin scheduled to be aired on Saturday evening, Wike categorically refuted claims suggesting he had collapsed and sought emergency medical treatment overseas.
“As I’m talking to you, do I look like somebody that is sick?” he said.
“Looking at me, will you think I’m above 30 years? I’m very well.”Responding to questions about whether he is preparing his son for political life, Wike said, “What’s wrong with that?”
In recent times, Wike has made multiple public appearances alongside his sons at both local and international events, prompting criticism from certain observers.
Back in April, reports emerged that he had collapsed during an engagement at the Presidential Villa and was subsequently flown abroad for treatment.
However, only a few days later, he was seen in high spirits during a Sallah visit to President Bola Tinubu.
Wike, the immediate past Governor of Rivers State amid face off with his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) last week attended a meeting organised by Governors of the party in which prominent members of the party including current and past governors of the party. Outcome of the meeting was not disclosed to the public.
