“It has come to my attention that false information is being circulated claiming that I distributed cars to players and officials following my appointment as General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club,” Musa said. “This claim is entirely untrue.”

The football star, who recently returned to Kano Pillars in an administrative capacity, expressed concern over the damage such unverified news could cause to the club’s image and leadership.

“I urge the public, media outlets, and individuals on social media to verify information from credible sources before sharing,” he cautioned. “Spreading unverified news not only misleads the public but also undermines the integrity of the club and its leadership.”

Musa, captain of the Super Eagles team reaffirmed his commitment to rebuilding the Kano-based club, emphasizing discipline, professionalism, and collective success as his primary objectives.

“Our focus remains on building a strong, disciplined, and successful team,” he stated. “Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”

The clarification comes amid heightened anticipation surrounding Musa’s return to Kano Pillars, where he played earlier in his career before rising to international prominence. His appointment as General Manager had sparked excitement among fans and stakeholders, many of whom believe his leadership could usher in a new era for the club.

With Musa now focused on administrative duties, expectations are high that his experience and vision will positively impact Kano Pillars’ fortunes both on and off the pitch.
