Former Super Eagles skipper and current manager of Kano Pillars, Ahmed Musa, has sealed a major sponsorship agreement worth N100 million with the Hausa Service of Radio France International (RFI).
The strategic partnership was officially cemented through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held at the iconic Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.

Joe Penney, Chief Coordinator of RFI, disclosed that the sponsorship package comprises a full supply of team kits, professional training support, and cutting-edge media equipment, all aimed at enhancing the club’s image and communication efficiency.
“With Ahmed Musa’s visionary leadership qualities, together, we shall take Kano Pillars to the next level,” Penney stated.
He further noted that RFI is committed to providing the club with continuous media training and digital support to strengthen its brand presence both locally and internationally.
In his remarks, Musa expressed optimism about what the deal signifies for Kano Pillars’ future.
“This is just the beginning of the season. And it is a big start. It means we shall have a good ending,” he said.
The ceremony also featured the official unveiling of Kano Pillars’ new jersey, proudly displaying the RFI logo, among other highlights celebrating the club’s growing commercial appeal under Musa’s leadership.
This landmark agreement signals a promising start for Kano Pillars as they embark on a new era with Musa at the helm.
