Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, paid a heartfelt visit on Saturday to the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, where she celebrated her Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) triumph with her spiritual community.

Attending the church’s monthly “Power Must Change Hands” service, Ajibade offered her winner’s medal and individual accolades to the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Daniel Olukoya, and his wife as a symbolic act of gratitude.

The Super Falcons clinched the continental trophy for the tenth time after beating hosts 3-2 on Saturday.

The football star attributed the team’s success at the tournament to divine intervention, expressing that the gesture was her way of honouring God’s protection and guidance throughout their campaign.
Renowned for her open expression of faith, Ajibade was warmly welcomed by the congregation, who rejoiced with prayers and applause in recognition of her remarkable achievement.
