Daniel Devenny, Marc Guéhi, and Ismaël Sarr all tested Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya before Jean-Philippe Mateta pounced on a costly mistake by Saliba to level the match late on with a stunning 25-yard lob.
While the point earned keeps Palace comfortably in mid-table, the ramifications are far greater for Arsenal.
The result sees them fall further behind league leaders Liverpool, who now need just a single point against Tottenham—Arsenal’s fiercest rivals—to be crowned champions before the Gunners’ next fixture.
