PSG crush Real Madrid 4-0 to reach Club World Cup final

Date:

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) stormed into the Club World Cup final with a commanding 4-0 victory over Real Madrid, showcasing a dominant performance from start to finish.

From the opening whistle, PSG applied relentless pressure, which paid off early. Ousmane Dembele seized on a defensive error by Raul Asencio and set up Fabian Ruiz to open the scoring.

Just minutes later, Dembele turned scorer, calmly finishing past the keeper after capitalizing on a mistake from Antonio Rudiger to make it 2-0 by the ninth minute.

Madrid struggled to cope with the intensity and pressing game of the Parisians. Another swift PSG counterattack saw Achraf Hakimi lay the ball off to Ruiz, who bagged his second of the match to put the score at 3-0.

Despite Real Madrid’s attempts to claw back into the game, the Spanish giants remained second best, unable to gain momentum as PSG controlled proceedings.

The rout was completed late in the match when Goncalo Ramos added a fourth goal, wrapping up a near-perfect performance for Luis Enrique’s side.

Now, only Chelsea stands in the way of PSG as they aim to cap their European rise with a Club World Cup title on Sunday to accompany their Champions League success.
