The home-based Super Eagles have been placed in a challenging Group D alongside defending champions Senegal, Congo, and Sudan for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The draw, which took place on Wednesday evening at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya, set the stage for the eagerly awaited tournament, marking the Super Eagles’ return to the biennial competition after a six-year absence. This has sparked renewed hope and excitement among fans and stakeholders.

- Group A:Kenya, Morocco, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia
- Group B: Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Central African Republic
- Group C:Co-hosts Uganda, Niger, and Guinea, with two more teams to join the group later.
The tournament will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, and promises to be a thrilling showcase of African football.
