Super Eagles striker and outgoing Galatasaray loanee, Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected a fifth contract offer of €45m yearly from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, reaffirming his desire to stay in European football.
This revelation was made public by sports journalist Buchi Laba, who disclosed via his official X (formerly Twitter) account Sunday that the Napoli forward is no longer considering a move to Saudi Arabia.
“Victor Osimhen officially rejects Al Hilal 5th offer,” Laba wrote. “He has decided to not move there no matter the money offered. Case closed.”

Despite being a hot topic in the transfer market for months, Osimhen appears to be taking a cautious approach regarding his next club. Sources suggest his focus is firmly on remaining in Europe where the competitive level aligns with his ambitions.
“Main priority is to stay back in Europe,” Laba added, while also noting that “a top Italian club [is] very interested and other European clubs” are monitoring the situation.
The 26-year-old, who played a key role in Napoli’s Serie A championship win during the 2022/23 season, has attracted interest from multiple top-flight clubs across Europe.
While he also spent time on loan at Galatasaray last season, helping them to a domestic double, Osimhen is now carefully evaluating his options with long-term sporting goals in mind.
