Controversial cross dress, Idris ‘Bobrisky’ Okuneye, has dismissed claims of defamation made by renowned human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN, and his son, rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz.
The allegations stem from a recent audio recording in which Bobrisky purportedly claimed to have given the Falanas N10 million to obtain a presidential pardon for his conviction earlier this year.
In response, Bobrisky denied the authenticity of the recording, asserting, “I, Okuneye Idris, also known as Bobrisky, did not give Falz or his father any money for a pardon. In fact, I did not give them anything at all.”
This denial follows a cease-and-desist letter from Falana and Falz, who demanded an apology within 12 hours.
Bobrisky took to Instagram to clarify that he did not make any defamatory remarks and emphasised his stance.
“The individual who published the audio should be held accountable for the statements. Anyone alleging defamation should address the publisher, not me,” he said.
